Geely Galaxy V900 Makes Global Debut, Marking Brand’s Entry into High-End MPV Segment

(2024.11.21,guangzhou China)the Geely Galaxy V900 made its global debut at the Guangzhou Auto Show, officially announcing the brand’s entry into the high-end MPV field. As a flagship model, it leverages the GEA Evo architecture to offer superior space, the FlymeAuto 2.0 intelligent cockpit, and super AI range-extending technology. With a pre-sale price range of approximately $41,250 to $61,900 USD (converted from 300,000 – 450,000 RMB), it challenges traditional luxury brands and new competitors with its comprehensive design and performance upgrades.

Empowered by the flexible GEA Evo architecture, the Galaxy V900 boasts a second and third-row legroom of over 1013mm and a standard trunk capacity of 1100L, easily accommodating fifteen 20-inch suitcases.

It offers 6, 7, and 8-seat layouts. The 8-seater features an industry-first “Magic Fourth Row” that can flip forward for seating, backward for viewing, or fold away entirely, perfectly adapting to diverse scenarios from business receptions to multi-generational family trips. All seats are Cloud-Touch SPA seats with an 11-layer design, featuring ventilation, heating, and 8-point massage functions. The third row supports one-button 180° reclining. Coupled with the largest panoramic sunroof in its class at 2.18㎡ and a total light-transmitting area of 5㎡, every passenger enjoys a first-class comfort experience.

For intelligent features, the Galaxy V900 is equipped with the FlymeAuto 2.0 system and the flagship Snapdragon 8295P chip, enabling zero-lag operation and ultra-natural voice interaction. The AI assistant, EVA, possesses emotional expression, memory, and learning capabilities, supports various dialect recognition and seamless Chinese-English switching, accurately remembers family members’ travel habits, and provides personalized service.

Its high-level assisted driving also leads the industry, featuring 27 perception units including 1 long-range LiDAR, 3 millimeter-wave radars, and 11 high-definition cameras, achieving 360° all-scenario perception. Its end-to-end mapless NOA function supports navigation-assisted driving on highways and urban roads, capable of performing complex maneuvers like voice-controlled lane changes and navigating traffic circles. The intelligent parking system covers 300+ parking space types with a success rate exceeding 99%, greatly alleviating MPV parking difficulties.

In terms of power, the Galaxy V900 debuts Geely’s super AI range-extending technology. The 1.5T range extender has a maximum power of 120kW, and paired with the CATL battery, offers multiple versions with pure electric ranges from 165km to 202km. The AI Cloud Power 2.0 system intelligently assesses road conditions and driving habits to autonomously switch between fuel and electric modes for seamless and efficient energy use, while 18-minute fast charging eliminates range anxiety.

For safety protection, the battery pack uses aluminum alloy housing and a cabin-style baseplate design, possessing dual high protection ratings of IP68/IPX9K. Combined with 2.5mm thick aerogel insulation and multiple burst-proof valves, it achieves 24-hour protection against thermal runaway. The cabin also features a three-zone fresh air system with a negative oxygen ion concentration of 100,000 ions/cm³, paired with 38 cavity partitions and 200 noise optimizations, creating a healthy and quiet cabin environment.

As Geely Galaxy’s first foray into the high-end MPV market, the Galaxy V900 boasts top-tier standards in design, space, intelligence, and power. Its expected price range of approximately $41,250 to $61,900 USD (converted from 300,000 – 450,000 RMB) positions it to compete directly with models like the Xpeng X9 and Denza N9.
